Pot Marigold, or Calendula is a species of plant from the Daisy family that blooms throughout the summer and fall seasons. Its name comes from its old Saxon name, which translates to “it turns with the sun”. Marigolds are considered an edible flower, often being incorporated into salads to add color. Additionally, they have been known to have anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties, and are traditionally used for cramps and constipation.
