Product Description
The loose tea leaves are harvested and then partially withered, lightly fired, wilted and baked again to enhance the look of the leaves. Then, the leaves are lightly steamed so the leaves are tender enough to be rolled into pellets. When infused, the pearl will unfurl and release a fragrant aroma and delectable taste that is smoky, yet bittersweet.
*As this is a full leaf tea, only a few pearls a required to create a full bodied tea. If too strong, make sure to brew your tea at a lighter temperature, or at a shorter time period.
This tea is also considered a slimming tea, so it has an overall bitter melody, while smoky, vegetal notes linger in the palate.
