LWC - Loring Wine Company:
Succulent, Complex, Single-Vineyard Pinots from 2014 Vintage
We rarely taste wine that makes a singularly great impact on our entire staff. But believe me, when we do, we make sure that we can share its greatness with our customers. Such is the case of Brian Loring's marvelous, umami-rich Pinot Noir. When our staff tried his Single-Vineyard Pinots - from Durell (Sonoma Coast), Aubaine (San Luis Obispo), and Rancho La Vina (Sat Rita Hlls), we were floored - in a good way. We all loved the wines for their lushness, their ripeness, their savoriness, and their concentration. In fact, we loved them so much that the winery gave us the last of their stock. These wines are simply outstanding!
Each Pinot listed below will be poured this Friday evening. Each exhibits the distinctive terroir of its vineyard. Read below for more information!
Loring Wine Company Rancho La Vina Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014
Intense raspberry, wild cherry and persimmon balanced by spicy, smoky oak, mushroom and herbaceousness. The Rancho La Vina is drinking excellently now, but will also benefit from ageing with its complexity, fine tannins, and vibrant acidity.

Loring Wine Company Durell Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014
Soft and silky entry with blueberry, raspberry, plums and cherries. Tannins are velvety and integrated highlighting notes of baking spice and cola.

Loring Wine Company Aubaine Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014
Dark ruby with purple hues. Fruity notes of fresh ripe raspberries, plums, and dark cherries are balanced by spice and mushroom earthiness and pine. Great balance of fruit, tannin and acidity.
